Along with advanced root canal therapy, we provide comprehensive general dentistry services. Find below some of our more popular treatments:
Microscope-assisted Root Canal
Tooth decay or other trauma create open gates for bacteria to reach the inner part of the tooth. When nerves and blood vessels inside the tooth are damaged by bacterial contamination, the tooth, in most instances, becomes painful. The goal of a root canal procedure is to save a painful tooth by removing infected pulp tissue from canals inside the tooth. Learn about microscope-assisted root canal.
Dental implants with fixed prosthesis
When there is a large enough gap between teeth, a dental implant (or artificial root) can be screwed into the bone and serve as support for a fixed prosthesis (artificial tooth). The integration of implant and bone requires a latent period that can range from six to nine months. Subsequent to this period, one or more teeth can be screwed into or cemented to the implants.
Teeth Whitening
This cosmetic approach makes your teeth a much brighter shade of white. Teeth (or dental) whitening requires only one session at the dentist’s office. This technique may also be done at home over a period of ten days using a kit handed to you at our clinic. Both approaches are harmless and use premium OpalescenceTM products to yield top grade results. Learn more about teeth whitening.
Dental Crowns
When a tooth is beyond repair, the recommended option is to replace it with a crown. In addition, crowns serve to protect teeth that are subject to fractures. Dental crowns are prepared in a laboratory, using various combinations of materials (porcelain, metal and ceramic). Under ideal conditions, crowns can last for more than 20 years. The procedure requires two visits to the dentist’s office.
Dental Bridges
The dental bridge is a permanent restoration used to replace one or several missing teeth. The bridge is cemented to adjacent teeth or dental implants. This procedure may be completed in two visits. The most commonly-used material is porcelain fused to a metal frame, which is made of a cast gold alloy using the lost wax technique. New material, like zirconium, can now be used to build a frame.
Comestic Restoration
Cosmetic dental restoration makes it possible to repair cracks and chipping and reduce gaps between teeth. The material used is a resinous compound paste available in different shades. The dentist matches the paste to the color of your tooth and applies it in successive layers. The layers are then shaped, hardened and glued together under a polymerization lamp.
Porcelain Veneers
In this procedure, a thin veneer of porcelain prepared in a laboratory is applied to the visible surface of the tooth. Dental veneers improve the appearance of teeth that cannot be treated with teeth whitening techniques. Moreover, they can be used to rapidly align teeth, narrow the gaps between teeth and quickly correct the shape of certain teeth. The procedure may be completed in two visits.
Removable Partial Denture Prosthesis
Removable partial dentures usually consist of replacement teeth attached to pink or gum-colored plastic bases. Your dentist will design a customized partial denture that may have a metal framework with clasps connecting to your teeth or may have other connectors that are more natural looking. Partial dentures can also be made to attach to your teeth with more aesthetic precision attachments.
Dentistry Essentials
We also cover other common dental care procedures such as teeth cleaning, placement of braces (orthodontics), wisdom teeth removal, mouth-guards, dental sealants and fillings (cavity treatments) as well as treatments for various gum-related diseases (periodontics).
