Obliterated Pulp Space VS Dental Operative Microscope

May 2, 2013 By Dr Pierre Pizem 2 Comments

Dental operating microscope (D.O.M.), D.O.M. versus completely calcified systems, Root Canal Treatment Pre-Therapy, Calcified Tooth No 11

First X Ray image : Pulp space is not visible on tooth number 11

Dental operating microscope (D.O.M.), D.O.M. versus completely calcified systems, Root Canal Treatment Per-Therapy

Second X Ray image : Displays a number 06 ISO stainless Steel file from Mani at canal entry gate, this my first catch. Locating a very narrow canal entry is the first challenge

Dental operating microscope (D.O.M.), D.O.M. versus completely calcified systems, Root Canal Treatment Per-Therapy, Patency No. 6

Third X Ray image : Shows a number 06 file in a patent narrow canal space

Dental operating microscope (D.O.M.), D.O.M. versus completely calcified systems, Root Canal Treatment Post-Therapy

Fourth X Ray : Displays completed root canal procedure. Shaping and cleaning such a narrow space without breaking a set of narrow files represents the second big challenge in this endodontic clinical case

Filed Under: Dental operating microscope (D.O.M.) assisted R.C.T., Extreme endo clinical cases, NEW CASES, What's new?, D.O.M. versus completely calcified systems, Popular Cases Tagged With: calcified canal, calcified canals, Dental operative microscope, microendodontics, Microscope, obliterated pulp space

Thank you for your nice comment Ivan, I use C+ Endodontic files from Dentsply, D Finders from Mani are also good for that purpose.
