Patient presented to our office with an irreversible pulpitis on her maxillary first molar. Tooth was calcified and lack of time limited the initial procedure to a pulpectomy on palatal root alone.
The patient did not come back for several months to complete the therapy and broke her tooth.
It was explained to her that a crown lengthening would be necessary in order to preserve her tooth.
Root canal had then been completed and tooth had been rebuilt with an amalgam Nayyar core build up.
A margin finishing on amalgam had been planned but I decided otherwise during the appointment.
Final deep marginal preparation.
Crown cementation today.
