Before your visit to our office
Bring your referral information from your regular dentist.
If possible, NO pain medication or anti-inflammatory should be taken 8-12 hours prior to your appointment.
Bring a list of all prescription, non prescription, and natural/herbal medications.
For those patients with conditions requiring pre-medication (i.e. mitral valve prolapse, rheumatic fever, joint replacement, etc.), please remember to pre-medicate prior to appointment.
Bring your dental insurance information: name and address of your insurance, insurance group number.
A minor will need to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
Consultation
Your visit will begin with a comprehensive consultation and examination. We will then discuss your diagnosis and treatment options.
Endodontic treatment may include:
Non surgical root canal treatment (Root canal treatment).
Non surgical root canal retreatment (Redo of an existing root canal).
Endodontic surgery (Root canal surgery).
Trauma case management.
Follow up
Unless specified otherwise, when your treatment is completed, you will need to contact your general dentist for the final restoration (filling or crown).
We would like to see you one year from treatment date to evaluate healing.
