EndoMontreal is a general practitioner dental clinic oriented towards root canal therapy. Along with our general dentistry services, we offer advanced root canal treatment services performed under a dental operating microscope, a very effective approach also known as micro endodontics.
Having started to use these cutting edge procedures in the province of Quebec 15 years ago, Dr. Pierre Pizem can be considered as an early adopter of this magnified operative field approach in Montreal. Moreover, we are using an OPMI PRO Ergo, an advanced dental operating microscope of the Zeiss product line – and another one of many innovative technologies that Dr. Pizem has been early to adopt. We’re very proud of what we do:
We are a good-standing member of the Canadian Academy of Endodontics with over 25 years of experience in the field and a public track record of top-rated quality. As such, a continuously growing number of Montreal dentists facing particularly intricate root canal cases regularly refer these patients to us. Since 2000, we have presented over 300 such advanced cases on our blog for the benefits of our fellow dentists. As a result, we’re proud to have earned praises from over 5000 dentists worldwide.
Why you might need our service:
The vast majority of endodontic treatments performed on teeth presenting wide root canals with apical constrictions do not require particular skills or even a dental operating microscope. They are of routine complexity. On many occasions, however, some intricate clinical cases require “to greatly enhance one’s capability by being able to practice using a vast variety of techniques and not being “married” to a single approach in every case”, as stated by John I. Ingle, a senior lecturer on endodontics. Those more complex root canal procedures are time consuming and require patience as well as state-of-the-art technology. These are the clinical cases we present in our blog.
About Dr. Pizem’s blog:
Our blog stresses out the utmost importance of the role played by the dental operating microscope (MOD) in root canal therapy. In fact, almost none of these procedures on severely calcified canals could have been adequately performed without the superior magnification and lighting the MOD offers. Thus many of those affected teeth would have otherwise been extracted and replaced by implant-supported crowns.
Blog posts are organized by category, each one representing a specific type of challenge as generally recognized by the profession. Inasmuch as a clinical situation may present a number of technical difficulties simultaneously, a number of radiography concerning the same procedure may appear under different categories. These root canal procedures were all performed in our dental office using up-to-date techniques and advanced technology.
Despite their extremely high level of risk and difficulty, they are all showing a nice predictable recovery. Radiography images in the regeneration of the periradicular tissues category demonstrate particularly satisfying long term post-operative successful outcomes.
The ultimate ingredients:
Beyond technical experience, advanced technology, or an expert diploma, our nearly 100% success rate ultimately results from our passion and dedication to always provide the finest quality of care to every patient.
